The Insect Galleries

Please take the time to browse my galleries. I have seperated the types of insect to make it easier to find what you are looking for.

My favourite family of insects are the Hover-flies, I really like the colours and find them quite inquisitive especially when they just hover looking at your every move.

Ants are pretty neat too and are normally the first to find any sweet bait placed to attract insects. They also farm Aphids which is an interesting study of symbiosis.  A lot of the creatures in these images are photographed between half to 5 times life size.
